Sammy Connor

This artist grew up seeing his grandfather's paintings hanging on his grandmother's walls, even though his grandfather left her before Sammy was born. Having never met the man, he had left a mysterious imprint upon his mind. Although his grandfather has since passed, his genetic traits still live on. It was in 2013 when Sammy began drawing, which started out as just a thoughtful gift: a decorated Passover card. It was at this time he saw he had a special talent and one that he enjoyed. 9 years later his hobby with its unique style has started catching others’ attention, which is his goal. 

 Besides painting portraits and wildlife, Sammy enjoys inventing things and being creative. With his desire for music, he has been inspired to build guitars out of some illustration boards that are used for drawing on. He figured out a way to plug them into the radio in his cell - making it electric - creating his own music. Sammy is also a student/teacher of the Peaceful Solution Character Education Program. His goal is to help make this world a better place; one that is peaceful for our next generation. Sammy values the righteousness within the Holy Scriptures. Even though he is 36 years young, he has adopted the ancient way of living according to the standards set up by the prophets, apostles, and Yeshua Messiah. He has been practicing this since he was 22.  

Accomplishments: Since mid-2020 he has completed over 40 color art pieces. Besides that, many charcoal, graffiti, and ink work. 

Many inmates do not have the ability to earn legitimate finances while in prison, and the ones who can do not make near enough to provide for themselves or their families. We believe that giving inmates a chance to earn their own financial well-being helps to build their confidence working in the free market, opposed to trying to make a living on the streets. We hope that their family friendly creations will be a joy for you to display, as well a blessing for them to support themselves and their loved ones.
